Amanda Baldwin, Chartered FCIPD

Amanda Baldwin, Director of HR Answers, has over 30 years of experience as an HR director and manager, as well as providing advice and solutions to clients as a consultant.

Amanda, along with her team, has a breadth of experience in many sectors including those that are regulated such as insurance and banking. She has also worked extensively in retail, equestrianism, natural medicines, care sector, hair and beauty, logistics and freight forwarding.

Her expertise lies in employee relations, change management, TUPE transfers, mergers and acquisitions, cultural change and strategies.

Amanda oversees all aspects of the business and works closely with clients to provide HR solutions from recruitment and staff training through to redundancies and disciplinaries. Her experience and knowledge as a consultant also enables her to assist businesses to grow and enter new markets whilst offering practical advice.

HR support is backed up by close links with some of the leading regional law firms, to whom we refer in specific situations.

Rachel Mitchell, Office Manager

Rachel has worked alongside Amanda for many years. She is responsible for the day to day running of the office and is the first point of contact for our clients organising interviews and selection days and producing offer letter, contracts etc.

Rachel checks in regularly with all our retained Clients and has an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of them and their staff since they joined us!

Lin Lawler, Assoc CIPD

Lin has worked worldwide in senior positions for the Ministry of Defence in roles including commercial management, finance and latterly as a senior trainer. An HR generalist her specialism is delivering a wide range of management training programmes which can be tailored to suit the individual requirements of our client’s business.

Lin has delivered training for HR Answers to a wide range of clients from public sector to manufacturing industries. She is a D32/33 NVQ assessor as well as being an ILM assessor.

Lin provides practical memorable training that almost always has an immediate impact when an employee returns to work from one of her courses!
